When I was in Texas I used to have these semi-regular poker all yono app nights at my apartment. A bunch of us from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram would get together and tell bad jokes, share stories and play a little poker. It wasn’t about the poker though, it was about the company.
I tried reinvigorating that here in Denver after I started working from home. I wanted to cut out a little time once a month to play poker and do all of those other things. A bunch of us ended up meeting go rummy a couple of times over the course of several months last year, but then we all let it drop.
I think I’m going to make another go at it. What about you? Do you try to meet up with folks outside of your home or the industry?
