Even though most of the cases in Osaka are in a suburb, Japanese suburbs are still rather dense. Seeing how something like 15 percent of the entire nation lives in Osaka-Kobe-Kyoto, it’s pretty easy for a virus to spread quickly. (Ditto for the greater still-Swine-flu-free Tokyo region!) So things have gotten panicky here a wee bit. In the area where I live, there are people sick with Swine Flu, and Mini-Bash’s school has been cancelled for the week. All the kids Y1 com Game in the neighborhood are staying inside, no one is outside, like a ghost town. Movie theaters and zoos are closed. Went to the pharmacy this morning to buy diapers for Micro-Bash and noticed that the place was sold out of masks. Everyone everywhere is wearing them. And to think a week or so earlier some TV commenters were wondering aloud if there wasn’t something special in “Japanese DNA” y1 com games that kept the virus from penetrating the island nation.
